Another of Vitral’s panel based systems, however, the profiles are manufactured from brushed stainless steel giving a modern and exclusive design as well as maintaining the slim lines of Vitral with a shallow depth.

The VRS system offers strength, thermal insulation and durability, thermal performance is excellent with double glazed units the system achieves an overall U-value of 1.5 W/m2K and a value of 1.0 W/m2K for triple glazed units.

The system is manufactured from a combination of glass, stainless steel (AISI 316), plastic, aluminium and rubber, the frames are thermally broken with an integrated PUR core, the panel finish is brushed stainless steel. All materials are recyclable.

For ventilation the VRS system does not require any additional carrier system, every second panel can be opening (subject to overall rooflight design). Opening panels fit seamlessly into the system so whether panels are fixed or opening the slim lines are consistent throughout the rooflight installation.

VRS has a profile height of 90mm with a visible width of 48.5mm, panel dimensions can be between 260mm – 3200mm high and 260mm -1191 mm wide but a maximum area of 2.5 m2. Single pitch can be between 15 and 90 degrees, double pitch self supporting can be between 25 and 60 degrees but can be down to 15 degrees if fully supported.

Note: panel size depends on pitch and other static conditions. We are able to provide project specific calculations to ensure the each Rooflight is manufactured within Vitral’s system parameters.

The VRS system is CE marked in accordance with DS/EN14351-1.
